Description

A festive and refreshing Christmas Punch that can be enjoyed as an alcoholic or non-alcoholic holiday beverage, packed with citrus and berry flavors enhanced by rum or vodka for extra holiday spirit.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 1 orange (sliced, plus more for garnish)
  • 1 cup cranberries (plus more for garnish)
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds

Juices and Soda

  • 2 cups cranberry juice (Ocean Spray Pure Unsweetened 100% juice recommended)
  • 2 cups orange juice (Simply, Natalie's, or Uncle Matt's brands recommended)
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice (POM brand recommended)
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda (Starry, Sprite, or 7Up recommended)

Alcohol (Optional)

  • 1 cup white rum (optional)

Others

  • Ice
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Add the slices from 1 orange, 1 cup cranberries, and ½ cup pomegranate seeds to a large pitcher or punch bowl. If using a larger bowl or dispenser, double the recipe accordingly.
  2. Add juices and soda: Pour in 2 cups cranberry juice, 2 cups orange juice, 1 cup pomegranate juice, and 2 cups lemon-lime soda into the pitcher with the fruit.
  3. Add alcohol if desired: Stir in 1 cup white rum or your choice of alcohol to make the punch alcoholic.
  4. Serve and garnish: Serve the punch in glasses over ice cubes. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs, extra orange slices, and cranberries for a festive touch. Optionally, make Christmas Ice Cubes using fruit for extra decoration.

Notes

  • This punch is a simple and delicious holiday drink that combines seasonal fruits and juices.
  • To keep it non-alcoholic, simply omit the rum or vodka.
  • For a more festive presentation, freeze some of the fruits in ice cubes to add to the glasses.
  • You can customize the alcohol type or amount depending on your preference.
  • Make sure to use unsweetened or pure juices to balance sweetness and tartness.
