Description

A simple and festive Chocolate Pomegranate Bark featuring rich bittersweet chocolate, fresh pomegranate seeds, and crunchy pistachio nuts. This easy no-bake treat is perfect for holiday gifting or a delightful snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 8.8 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh pomegranate seeds (from 1 large pomegranate)
  • ¾ cup pistachio nuts (2.6 oz)

Instructions

  1. Prepare baking sheet. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside to prepare for the chocolate layer.
  2. Melt chocolate. Melt the chopped bittersweet chocolate either in a heat-proof bowl over a pot of simmering water or in the microwave in 10 second increments, stirring between each until smooth.
  3. Spread chocolate. Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and smooth it out evenly into about a ¼ inch thick layer, or thicker if preferred.
  4. Add toppings. Sprinkle the fresh pomegranate seeds and pistachio nuts evenly over the warm chocolate and gently press them into the surface to adhere.
  5. Chill to set. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to fully set and harden.
  6. Break bark. Once set, break the bark into pieces by hand or cut with a knife into approximately 15 pieces.
  7. Store properly. Store the chocolate bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days to maintain freshness.
  8. Enjoy. Serve chilled or at room temperature as a delicious sweet treat.

Notes

  • This dark chocolate bark is an easy and elegant sweet treat with only three ingredients.
  • Use couverture chocolate for best melting and texture results.
  • Pistachios can be substituted with other nuts like almonds or walnuts if preferred.
  • Make sure to press toppings firmly into warm chocolate to keep them in place.
  • Store in the fridge to prevent melting, especially in warm climates.
  • This recipe makes a great edible gift during festive seasons like Christmas.
