- 1 cup fresh pomegranate seeds (from 1 large pomegranate)
- ¾ cup pistachio nuts (2.6 oz)
Instructions
- Prepare baking sheet. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside to prepare for the chocolate layer.
- Melt chocolate. Melt the chopped bittersweet chocolate either in a heat-proof bowl over a pot of simmering water or in the microwave in 10 second increments, stirring between each until smooth.
- Spread chocolate. Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and smooth it out evenly into about a ¼ inch thick layer, or thicker if preferred.
- Add toppings. Sprinkle the fresh pomegranate seeds and pistachio nuts evenly over the warm chocolate and gently press them into the surface to adhere.
- Chill to set. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to fully set and harden.
- Break bark. Once set, break the bark into pieces by hand or cut with a knife into approximately 15 pieces.
- Store properly. Store the chocolate bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days to maintain freshness.
